La Cristalera is a teaching center and residence of the Autonomous University of Madrid in the municipality of Miraflores de la Sierra (60 km from Madrid city center) for the development of meetings, conferences, summer courses, and leisure and cultural activities.
The building has two thousand square meters, within a 30,000 square meter property surrounded by a lush forest of oaks and pines and crossed by the Gargantón River.
Its facilities include:
Two classrooms with a capacity for 25 people.
A classroom with a capacity for up to 70 people.
An outdoor classroom with capacity for up to 90 people.
The residence has audiovisual equipment (public address system, video projector, and laptop) and the entire residence is a high-speed Wi-Fi zone that can be accessed from EDUROAM.

It has 42 rooms with bathrooms and a total of 60 beds, expandable to 75 (private management, no UAM).
